Now support the WHO Covid 19 Fund through DSZ – International Giving Foundation

The coronavirus knows no borders – in view of the worldwide spread of the pathogen, poor people in countries with less developed health systems are particularly at risk. The World Health Organization (WHO) is leading and coordinating global efforts and supporting countries in the prevention, detection and response to the pandemic.

In these challenging times, joint commitment is required. Against this background, WHO, together with the United Nations Foundation and the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation, has created the Solidarity Fund to combat COVID-19. This fund is designed to support the most vulnerable and needy countries in the fight against corona, in accordance with the WHO’s COVID-19 Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan.

Instructions for handling your donation through the DSZ – International Giving Foundation

Transparency is important to DSZ – International Giving Foundation. For donations of 200 Euros or more, the DSZ – International Giving Foundation issues a German donation receipt according to the official model. This requires the donor’s address data, which can either be provided by e-mail or stated directly in the purpose of the transfer. For donations of less than 200 Euro, a simplified donation receipt from the bank or a bank statement is sufficient according to § 50 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 EStDV*.

Donation form

*In order to forward and process your donation according to charitable standards and to cover expenses, the DSZ – International Giving Foundation retains a small portion of the donation, depending on the amount donated, of approximately 5 percent as a free donation share. You can find further information here on the website of DSZ – International Giving Foundation. Naturally, you will receive a donation receipt for the full amount we receive.
